Does attack traffic count towards my TB?
No. Only clean traffic counts. Attack traffic we filter out is never added to your plan.
What happens if I use up my traffic?
You get a warning first. If the plan's traffic for the month runs out after that, the service is disconnected.
How many servers can I add?
Add as many servers as you need. They all share your plan's traffic. The plans differ only by that monthly traffic, and every plan has the same features.
Do players need a port number?
Not on Java. The address is just your domain, and players join on the usual port 25565. We route each connection by its domain, so you need no extra ports or SRV records. Bedrock players use your domain and the Bedrock port shown in your panel, or the standard port 19132 with a Dedicated IP.
Can Bedrock players join?
Yes, through Geyser on your server. Turn it on in your server's Geyser tab and players on phones, consoles and Windows can join alongside Java players.
Can my server get its own IP?
Yes, with the Dedicated IP add-on for €3 a month. Your server gets one IPv4 address that only it uses, with Java on 25565 and Bedrock on 19132.
Which location will my server use?
You pick London or Frankfurt, and your traffic goes through that location. Both are on the same Templass network as our DDoS protection, with London as our main location.
Will my server see real player IPs?
Yes. Clean traffic reaches your server with PROXY protocol. Turn on PROXY protocol support in your server or proxy, for example Velocity or BungeeCord.
What do players see when my server is offline?
An offline MOTD in their server list, instead of an entry that just fails to connect.
How is this different from Templass DDoS protection?
Templass DDoS protection connects your network over GRE or a Cross-Connect and is billed on clean bandwidth at the 95th percentile. Minecraft Protection is for smaller servers that want an easy setup and a monthly traffic plan.
Can I manage it in the panel?
Yes. You order, add servers and set rate limits, IP filtering and bans yourself in the panel at panel.templass.com.
